When a customer arrives at your Shopify store, you want to autodetect the person’s local language and currency to show up automatically. This is a step by step guide on how to autodetect local language and currency on a Shopify store.

STEP 1 – Download Translate & Currency Converter Pro To Add Autodetect

STEP 2 – Open The Translate Tab
Look at the tabs at the top and click on the ‘translate’ tab to enter the page to control the auto detection.
STEP 3 – Turn On Auto Language Detection
Scroll down to the AUTO LANGUAGE DETECTION section where you will find a enable and disable button. Make sure the button is green to turn on the autodetection.
STEP 4 – Open The Currency Tab
Look at the tabs at the top and click on the ‘currency’ tab to enter the page to control the auto-detection.
STEP 5 – Turn On Currency Detection
Scroll down to the AUTO CURRENCY DETECTION section where you will find a enable and disable button.
The button here is greyed out, that means the currency autodetection is turned off. In the translate page I showed you how it was green which meant it was turned on. You can now see the difference between on and off.
Now your Shopify store has auto-translation and auto currency on, so your customer will see there local language and currency.
